Well, if it isn’t my favorite atheist! What’s on your mind, Steve?
You Christians! You think you’ve got a lock on being good, on leading a virtuous life.
Well, some of us fit the bill and others don’t.
We nonbelievers are just as kind, charitable as the best of you.
That may be so Steve, but that’s not the half of it.
Oh?
Christians are urged to be good but Jesus gives us more than that. He gives us a new way of looking at our existence here on earth, a vision of eternal glory.
Yeah, I know. Pie in the sky when you die.
It’s all true, Steve. Give it a try.
Huh!
Pray. Pray a little prayer.
Pray? who to? An imaginary figment of a sick mind.
Turn to Him. Just say, “God, if there is a god, here I am. I am seeking your help.”
You know, I might just try that.
