Summary: The modern world gives us the illusion of happiness, based on advertisements and the idea of “I want.” Abraham, on the other hand, was led by God to new horizons. He saw the face of God, and God showed him a new perspective. God surprised Abraham, and perhaps God surprises us.
The decision to pursue God’s path is not just religious. We must live by right and true values, as stated by the author Joseph Conrad. The art of living is to live well and faithfully, faithful to the end.
