Gospel: Matt. 5:38-48 Love your enemies

Summary: Our parish has geographical boundaries, but we are connected by grace and faith to the whole Church. We worship the same Christ. St. Patrick said, “As you are Catholic, so you are Roman.” Each parish contributes to the whole Church. We”re not like the million and one Bible churches that have no authority.
The twin apostolates of prayer and the education of young women are pursued by the Visitation Sisters of Georgetown. Are you searching for God’s calling? Consider a life with the Washington, DC.
We are part of the true Church. It is a symbiotic relationship. The larger Church gives us life, and the smaller church gives the larger Church life. Ours is more than a superficial membership. We are joined to each other. Every missionary, every nurse-nun is giving Jesus to another. Every good Catholic mother, father, brother and sister is giving Jesus to another.
Because of all the Catholics, and all the little parishes in the world, God”s love and grace is being given to the world.
