(Full text of sermon) You may have seen all the nonsense in the newspapers about some alderman—Joe Moreno—up on the north side who angrily vowed to the media that he was going to deny a permit for some chicken sandwich store — called Chick-fil-A — that wanted to open up in his ward. And why was the alderman so against the store owner? What was the crime? Well, it seems the owner had said that he believed what the bible says about marriage being the life-long relationship of one man and one woman.
You mean he actually said that? A man and a woman? And for life? How outrageous! How dare he espouse such prejudice and hate! Off with his head! Do you see what is happening? The government wants to deny a man a permit to do business because of his Christian faith. The government is about to forbid a man to hire people and sell food because of what that man believes as a Christian. He is being pushed around by no less than an alderman and a mayor solely because he is a Christian.
The owner of the chicken sandwich store hasn’t done anything to anyone. He hasn’t hurt or harassed a soul.
He hasn’t denied anyone service or employment. He has simply expressed his belief in the norms of Christian marriage—one man, one and for life.
Thought crime
I guess that is now a thought crime—an unacceptable thought that the government forbids you to think. And if you think it—you are an outlaw.
I did see where (in the last day or two) Rahm Emmanuel and the newspapers have backed off a little of their support for this alderman’s harassment of the sandwich shop—and they are trying to get him (the alderman) to simmer down. I can hear them now on the phone, “Joe, Joe, it’s too early—give it some time. Be patient.
This is too hot now—we will get ’em another time.” And if you don’t think that conversation is happening, then you aren’t paying attention.
Manipulate our young people
Obviously a guy who sells chicken is not who they are after. And actually they are not after the churches either. They are really after the young people and the families—whose attitudes and values and beliefs they want to mold and change and shape. They want to manipulate our young people into thinking that love is only about sex and for the right price they can sell it to them—any way any shape any type. And they will use all the propaganda possible to make normal seem unreasonable and wrong and mean-spirited.
In the final analysis, though, you eventually come to realize that none of this is about gay marriage—or equal rights. If the truth be told, hardly any homosexuals actually do get “married”. Maybe about 3%.
This is all about control. This is all about our consumer culture’s attempt to destroy real marriage and cripple families making it all the easier to kidnap our children’s souls.
Hand our children over to “gay marriage”
What this crowd is really trying to do is steal from parents and grandparents their God-given duty and the right to teach their children what is right and what is wrong and how God made it that way.
This “gay marriage” thing is simply the latest strategy to force us to hand over our children to the ones who own this culture and country—to their schools and their movies and their music and their values and make our children belong to them.
You see, it does not serve the needs of the media or government or corporations for children to still be attached to their families and parents and all those traditional values. The children need to be snatched away from their own people and their own God and given over to Moloch. That is what this fight is all about.
Internment camps
It is a real war over who is in charge of our families and our lives and beliefs. Us or them? And you can bet that they are readying the internment camps for parents who don’t go along.
That is why we cannot give in—our families are at stake—our souls are at stake.
As for me, I think I am gonna try some Chick-fil-A.
