Deacon Robert Banet
You know, this is the hundredth anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady at Fatima.
Yes, I know.
What blessing that it was for the whole world.
Yes, and especially for the three children.
That vision of hell must have been enough to make saints out of them.
You know, I’ve been thinking about that. Why doesn’t God grant that terrifying vision to everyone?
What do you mean?
Well, if He showed me that picture of hell, I would be converted on the spot.
I see what you mean. If God wants everyone to go to heaven, why doesn’t He make it easier?
I can ‘t answer that.
Maybe He wants to give us a chance to spread that message and in that way increase our own merit. Us and everyone else who have heard about their vision.
You may be right. In any case, the ways of God are hidden and mysterious.
What we should do is to spend the message and pray the rosary and warn others of the need to repent.
Not an easy task.
What do you mean?
I mean people nowadays are so focused on the good things of this world, they have no time for the things of eternity.
Well, again, why doesn’t God grant them that vision of hell?
